Organisations committing to achieve Net Zero carbon are planning to take action to cut carbon emissions under their direct control to an irreducible minimum and then invest in ‘Carbon Capture’ schemes to compensate for any residual emissions. The result would be that no net carbon dioxide emissions arise from the operation of that organisation.
