Ryanair has announced a new direct route from Aberdeen International Airport to Krakow, enhancing travel options for North East passengers next summer.
This twice-weekly service, commencing on 2 April 2025, will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays, providing convenient access to one of Europe’s most vibrant and historic cities.
The route caters to both leisure travellers and those visiting friends and family, marking Krakow as Aberdeen’s second direct connection to Poland after the popular Gdansk route.
With the addition of Krakow, Ryanair continues to expand its operations from Aberdeen, where demand for European destinations has been on the rise.
Chris Tibbett, Aero Director for AGS Airports, praised the move: “This new route to Krakow is a fantastic addition to our network, and we are delighted that Ryanair has responded to passenger demand by introducing this service.
“Krakow is one of Europe’s most popular city destinations, known for its rich history and vibrant culture.”
In addition to the Krakow route, Ryanair is increasing the frequency of flights to Faro from two to three times per week during the 2025 summer season.
These service enhancements reflect a 43% growth in Ryanair’s overall operations from Aberdeen compared to summer 2024, reinforcing Aberdeen International Airport’s commitment to expanded connectivity for its regional passengers.
