Sophia Clarke-Maxwell was born on the Island of Kingston, Jamaica and moved to New York at the age of 5. Attended several schools in the tri-state area and started working on Wall Street at the age of 19. She gradually climbed the corporate ladder by the age of 24, and was an operation manager for an Executive Office Firm, which specialized in turn-key leasing.
Thereafter, she owned and operated her first bar and lounge on Long Island, NY and started a catering business reaching the tri-state area serving hundred of guests per event. Although praised for the quality of many of the items on her menu, she attained a special notoriety for her exquisite patties. After years of request for her exceptionally flavorful dishes, she decided to pursue marketing a product focused creation of gourmet patties through Korture Patties.
With the help of very willing taste-testers, Sophia Clarke-Maxwell has developed several combinations for the premiering patties. They include tastes like the popular sweet potato crust stuffed with black bean, plantain crust stuffed with codfish.
After years of request, originator Sophia Clarke-Maxwell has begun pursuing the groundbreaking needs to operate at a national level. Although praised for the many types of unexpected taste combinations on their menu, Korture Patties continues to add amazing taste combinations to their line-up.
Sophia Clarke-Maxwell currently resides on Long Island, although her children are all grown up, she is still a full-time mother of 3 and a proud grandmother of 6.
